Labelling of Products

Basic requirements in dates

The dates must be 100% natural without any preservatives or any other additions.

Dates should be the same class and in the maturity stage that makes them bear transport and trading until they reach the place of consumption appropriately.

Dates must be free of live insects and their various stages of live, molds and pathogens microbes.

Dates should have a distinctive flavour of each type separately.

To be fancy and qualified in shape, colour and size.

The raw materials used in production matching the standard specifications of their respective.

Colour and skin

The dates to be natural clean and dried homogeneous colour and matches including distinctive colour of the class.

And be prolific pulp is full or almost full of oily appearance and texture, semi-transparent outer skin , and depending on the type of adherent pulp and free - practically - from defects and heterogeneous in size almost , without any additives, dyes or oils.

Weight, number and size

The minimum weight of each piece is 5.5 gram.

Humidity is between 20-30 % of the mass.

The number of Dates pieces should be less than 80 in 500 grams of dates.  

Packaging

Dates are packed in distinctive food containers, show content, clean, dry and impermeable to moisture to protect them from pollution damage.

Transport and storage

Be transported in a manner that reserves them from mechanical damage and pollution and within proper temperature.

Be stored away from heat, moisture and harmful substances, insects and rodents sources.

Documents accompanying products

Letter from Ministry of Agriculture (for the import country) shows and proof that the product is safe and amenable for human use.

Letter from Ministry of Health shows and proof that the products are free from pesticides and toxic chemicals, biological and radiological germs (microorganisms).

A certificate of origin for the products from the Ministry of Economy (or any equivalent) or the Customs Department.

Certificate of  the packaging materials (health - food certificates).

Commercial licenses to the exporter.

List of loading, certified invoice and the bar code list of the products.
